History of UiTM Affiliated College
UiTM Affiliated College program was introduced in 1992 which aims to provide opportunities to Bumiputera who do not receive offers to study at a Public University. This programme also aimed to provide support for private institutions (IPTS) in Malaysia to run their programme independently. IPTS can offer any undergraduate full-time programmes from UiTM based on the sufficiency of staffs, facilities and educational resources to ensure effective delivery of the programme.By offering UiTM programmes, IPTS can increase their student’s intake.

In 1996, KKB UiTM started offering Pre-Diploma and Diploma programs to SPM graduates. To this day, there are twelve private colleges that become part of UiTM Affiliated Colleges (Kolej-Kolej Bersekutu UiTM):
